About Us

Matt - Hard at work...       Matt Langley

After graduating from Algonquin Regional High School in 1988, Matt went on to further his education at The Franklin Institute in Boston. Graduating in 1990 with his automotive associate’s degree in hand he started working at Midas Brake & Muffler.  After almost 13 years, he decided to leave the security of working for the man and just GO FOR IT! In December 2002, together with his lifelong friend Sean Durran, 2-Tech Automotive was opened. 10 years later they have proven that you can put the customer first and that honest, affordable, auto repair is profitable. Above all else, working hard and taking the time to go the extra mile is not only personally satisfying, it builds the type of relationships with their customers that they can be proud of. And let’s not forget, “Matt Gyver” can fix ANYTHING!!!

Being The BOSS and working 6 days a week, leaves little time for all the outdoor activities Matt enjoys with his family (hunting, fishing, snowboarding, camping, motocross and atving) but he believes that anything that’s worth having or doing  is worth working for. Plus as long as golf league fits into the schedule and you can sneak in a Patriots game or a concert, how overworked can you be? You can bet your bindings, when the snow starts flying they may just give in, grab their kids and hang the GONE SKIING sign on the door!  Everyone deserves a weekend once in awhile!

Sean Durran

Sean attended Assabet Valley Regional Voc HS with aspirations of becoming an auto technician. After graduation in 1986, he took an auto body job at Auto Ltd. in Framingham. In 1996 has buddy Matt got him to switch gears and take a job working for Midas Muffler. Though it was a plus for Sean and his family, he was unhappy with the way a big business ran. Customers were merely numbers! So Sean and Matt became business partners and 2Tech Auto was born.

Being an owner / operator has given Sean the chance to be the best he can for both his customers and his family. Having a business partner has also allowed him some time to be more active in his church and his family life. Sean enjoys his time coaching youth baseball, camping, skiing and yard sales with his beautiful wife. After all having a good balance of work and play means Sean can continue to give his best to all the people in his life.
